Meadow
Lane Elementary School was built in 1957 on the eastern edge of
Lincoln. At that time, it was surrounded by more cornfields than
houses. It grew to be the largest elementary school in Nebraska
in the 1960s. Now Meadow Lane has students ranging from Preschoolers
through Fifth Graders. Meadow Lane students were born in 22 different
countries which truly adds to the richness of the multicultural
learning environment.
Meadow Lane students and staff invite you to visit us in person
and through this web site. You will see why we think Meadow Lane
